VarVee.com has been designed to let your teammates, friends and fans learn more about you, along with the teams and sports you are most interested in. Thus, it's expected that you'll share information about yourself.

For instance, you should never post your email, social security number, credit card, or mother's maiden name. You should also avoid posting any information that would allow someone you don't know from actually locating you - like your home phone number or address.
• Also, some pieces of information are tougher to make decisions about. For example, we recommend NOT posting any personal information like your IM screen-name in public places like comments or discussion boards, even if you have posted that info in your profile, because your profile is more secure and you can control who sees it. • Online Friends: Although it can be fun and interesting to communicate with people from other high schools who you encounter on VarVee.com, be cautious about people that you've never met in person. • VarVee.com works hard to prevent any inappropriate behavior between users and unwanted content associated with you or your profile. If someone harasses you or others, or does anything that makes you feel uncomfortable, use the "Report" link at the top of their profile page to notify theVarVee.com Team.

If you ever feel you're in real danger, you should immediately report the matter to your parents, school officials, or local law enforcement. In addition, you should report the member to the VarVee.com Team.

Virus Protection
Occasionally people may misuse VarVee.com to promote their business, or to try to get information about you for fraudulent purposes. Don't respond to such messages and be careful about the external links you click on. You should also make sure you have adequate virus and spyware protection installed on your computer so that if you accidentally click on a harmful link, your computer will alert you.

Before allowing any Platform Developer to make any Platform Application available to you, VarVee requires the Platform Developer to enter into an agreement which, among other things, requires them to respect your privacy settings and strictly limits their collection, use, and storage of your information. However, while we have undertaken contractual and technical steps to restrict possible misuse of such information by such Platform Developers, we of course cannot and do not guarantee that all Platform Developers will abide by such agreements. Please note that VarVee does not screen or approve Platform Developers and cannot control how such Platform Developers use any personal information that they may obtain in connection with Platform Applications. In addition, Platform Developers may require you to sign up to their own terms of service, privacy policies or other policies, which may give them additional rights or impose additional obligations on you, so please make sure to review these terms and policies carefully before using any Platform Application. You can report any suspected misuse of information through the VarVee Platform and we will investigate any such claim and take appropriate action against the Platform Developer up to and including terminating their participation in the VarVee Platform and/or other formal legal action.

You may update or remove from your VARVEE profile any information you post at any time except for your high school information. Complete removal of certain information (such as your name, e-mail address or password) requires terminating your user registration. We provide links to manage your information on your VARVEE profile page. To view your profile page, click on the "My Profile" link on the navigation bar on the side of any VARVEE page.

How We Share Your Personal Information
We will not share your email address or password except (a) if you ask us to send it to you, and you can demonstrate that you are who you say you are, to the best of our reasonable abilities; (b) with your consent; (c) as may be required by law or as we think necessary to protect our company or others from injury (e.g. in response to a court order or subpoena, in response to a law enforcement agency request) ; (d) with other persons or entities with whom we contract to carry out internal site operations or our business activities (for example, sending out a product or a promotional item that you have requested); or (e) notifying you when we make changes to one of our terms of service, this policy or other user agreements.
